Mindfulness-Based Therapy for Adults, Couples, and Teens (16+)
Helping You to Feel Better
I offer grounded support for anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, and complex trauma (related to a chaotic or emotionally abusive childhood, or religious trauma). I also support people navigating life transitions and in exploring identity, spirituality, and purpose.

All of You Is Welcome, Right Where You Are
You don’t need the right words. Longing for relief is enough. You don’t have to have everything figured out. An ache to feel better is enough. Underneath the anxiety and sadness there is often a deeper story.
Perfectionism, intrusive thoughts, and people pleasing might be how your nervous system learned to seek safety and belonging.
Reactivity or impulsivity can be a lingering, conditioned response to unpredictable and critical caregivers, or pressure to conform.
Chronic stress and worry may have begun as an adaptive strategy for harmful and chaotic experiences, or early parentification.
You’re not broken and there is hope. I’m here to help you better understand what has shaped your life, and in feeling better.
An Engaged and Relational Approach
“Oh my heart. You don’t have to go it alone.”
— Bhikshuni Jenta, The Conqueror
You also don’t need to walk this journey alone. I’ll show up with compassionate and attuned presence, supported by decades of experience and training. You will be accepted just as you are.
Together we’ll make caring space for your whole self — from your messy, uncertain, complicated, and tender bits to your insights, gifts, and hopes.
A Grounded Path Forward
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness is a way of living that cultivates steadiness and buoyancy— it helps you to both ground and to be responsive. It makes room for all of you by inviting clear and caring awareness to your unfolding experiences.
In mindfulness therapy, we forge compassionate pathways to help you disentangle from outdated or unhelpful patterns and critical inner chatter. We explore mind–body–heart connections and practice effective ways to soothe your nervous system. Together we strengthen your capacity to emotionally regulate so that you can meet life from a more resourced, steady heart.
Along the way we also let in the good, fostering wonder and joy.
My aim is to help you heal and experience greater well‑being while gaining tools that will continue to support you in daily life and relationships.
Compassionate Guidance Rooted in over 20 Years of Transformative Practice
I've guided hundreds of people through their deepest struggles and their healing journeys for over 20 years. In that time, I've witnessed the remarkable resilience and transformations that emerge when people feel safe and rediscover their authentic self.
I’m committed to providing trauma-sensitive and affirming therapy for LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and BIPOC clients, approaching our therapeutic relationship with humility, accountability, as well as ongoing learning.
I'm a licensed associate therapist in Washington. I offer in-person sessions for clients in the Portland/Vancouver area, and secure telehealth statewide. I’m in network with Premera, Lifewise, Blue Cross Blue Card, and GAIP insurance. I also accept self-pay with a sliding scale.
