Grounded Support to Help You Feel Better

In‑person in Vancouver • Telehealth in Washington

Portland and Oregon residents: my offices are less than 5 minutes from the I-5 Bridge.

I help people navigating anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and relationship instability as well as complex trauma related to a chaotic or emotionally unsafe childhood, or religious trauma. I also support individuals facing life transitions and exploring identity, meaning, and purpose.

All of You Is Welcome, Right Where You Are

You don’t need the right words or to have everything figured out. Longing to feel better is enough.

When we start with care and curiosity we can discover and address the patterns that feed anxiety, sadness, and conflict.

  • Perfectionism, people pleasing, and intrusive thoughts might be how your nervous system learned to seek safety and belonging.

  • Reactivity, impulsivity, or withdrawal may be a lingering response to a history of walking on eggshells or pressure to conform.

  • Chronic stress and worry can stem from surviving chaotic or hurtful environments, or having to grow up too fast.

I will help you make sense of what’s shaped your life, break unhelpful patterns, and create positive changes to bring greater peace, stability, and contentment.

A Relational and Engaged Approach

“Oh my heart. You don’t have to go it alone.”

— Bhikshuni Jenta, The Conqueror

You don’t need to walk this journey alone. I will show up with compassionate and attuned presence, and draw from an array of evidence-based tools. You and what you carry will be met with non-judgment and acceptance.

Together, we will make caring and transformative space for your whole self. Every part of you is welcome here: from your messy, uncertain, complicated, and tender bits to your insights, gifts, and hopes.

A Grounded Path Forward

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is a way of living that cultivates steadiness and buoyancy— it helps you to both ground and to be responsive. It makes room for all of you by inviting clear and caring awareness to your unfolding experiences.

In mindfulness therapy, we forge compassionate pathways to help you disentangle from unhelpful patterns and critical inner chatter. We explore mind–body–heart connections and practice effective ways to soothe your nervous system. Together we strengthen your capacity to emotionally regulate so that you can meet life from a more resourced, steady heart.

Along the way we also let in the good, fostering wonder and joy.

My aim is to help you heal and experience greater well‑being while gaining tools that will continue to support you in daily life and relationships.

Compassionate Guidance Rooted in over 20 Years of Transformative Practice

I've guided hundreds of people through their deepest struggles and their healing journeys for over 20 years. In that time, I've witnessed the remarkable resilience and transformations that emerge when people feel safe and rediscover their authentic self.

I’m committed to providing trauma-sensitive and affirming therapy for LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and BIPOC clients, approaching our therapeutic relationship with humility, accountability, as well as ongoing learning.

Working Together

I'm a licensed associate therapist in Washington. I offer in-person sessions for clients in the Portland/Vancouver area, and secure telehealth statewide. I’m in network with Premera, Lifewise, Blue Cross Blue Card, and GAIP insurance. I also accept self-pay with a sliding scale.
